Hi,
I am a US citizen. Last June (2013) I filed I130,I485 concurrently for my mother 2 months after she came to US with a visitor visa. I had my I130 petition approved and the next day I received an interview letter from USCIS for my mother to attend an interview. This was odd to me and the thing that makes it even more strange is that they have asked for many documents to bring with us and several of those documents are not even relevant to this application. For example they have asked for wedding photos and anything that proves that the marriage was bonafide!
I am wondering if anyone has experienced similar situation and what do you think I should do in this regard?
I also have to add that my mother is out of the country with advance parole.
I appreciate your input on this matter,
Regards,
aghalam
