I had my AOS interview on 15th Feb 2006 at NYC. I-485 is based on marriage. Its already more than 90 days the status on the system shows pending. I was approved after the interview and the officer stamped my passport with I-551 stamp valid for 1 year. He said i would receive my GC in 4 weeks but its no where in sight. I haven't even received any approval notice or any welcome letter. Sent wrriten inquiry after 60 days and also after 90 days but no response. Took an info pass appointment and spoke to immigration officer. He made me fill inquiry form and said i will get some communication in few weeks. I had also file G731T and send letter to Senator and Congressmen but no luck.
Attorney has been trying to get status update but not successful.
Anyone with similar experience? Any thoughts on what could be going on.

I had my 2nd info pass appointment today. No luck. The officer looks at my I - 551 stamp and says thats ok but your case is still pending and you need to fill up one more inquiry form. I am not sure what is the deal with inquiry requests. The height of everything was when officer said my file was never at NYC office. It is in a different office. How is that possible as i interviewed in NYC office. Officer kind of asked me if i was sure it was in NYC or i was loosing it. I could not belive that.

June 19th finally there is a status update online saying your welcome notice was mailed on June 16th 2006.
Now i am waiting to receive it. Also there is an update on i-130 saying approved on june 16th 2006.
This is finally getting over i guess.
