I figured out that, in my interview letter, along with my passport, driver's licence, EAD, social security and tax return, they also need a form I 864 (Affidavit of Support), tax transcripts and income of the sponsors.
I have no sponsors, so is it required to take the form during the interview? or is this some kind of general letter that applies to all???

i really don't know if its just a standed letter. I would just find a friend out there and have them fill the sponsor form for ya. don't show it to them at the interview unless they ask you for it. This is just to be on a safe side.

i don't have a sponsor but i have more than $30,000 in my savings account. But if they ask for a sponsor, i would find one for them that makes $17,000/yr. i think it would be rediculous if they do cus i probably make more than 5 times the poverty level.:D
If u have a good paying job, don't worry so much about it. Just take ur paystubs with ya.

Thanks Johnkent!

But i think that's the standard letter, coz it says the first two points applies to all person going for the interview and the rest of the points applies to all married couples. I really tried to look for a sponsor and i found one, he agreed for that too but later i figured out that he had a shoplifting case. So, i decided not to go with him. I have managed a job letter and some $13,000 in the account. Is that enough???

I-864 is for FAMILY immigration only.

I-134 is used for DV, if you need it. If you already have a job in the States, you most likely won't need an affidavit of support.

oh! really,
So, why the heck did they sent me that letter for I 864?
Thanks LuckyMo ...that took off all my worries....
