AOS filed during Fiasco-July 2007

Hi everyone,

What happens to all AOS filed during the visa fiasco July/2007?
Do all these applications still fall under the 6-12 months timeframe for approval or can they only be approved once the priority dates are current again?

I was under the impression that priority dates determine the eligibility to FILE an AOS. Once it is filed, then the regular, standard processing times would apply.

Can someone please clarify?

That's incorrect. You need a current PD to file, and a current PD to be approved.
