Any one received notice for AOS cancelled notification for unforseen reason (Standard document wording). We have asked for the reschedule (jan 08,2007 )due to our overseas travel. Changing the overseas travel not a option due to family reasons. What I am not sure is, that the notice is due to our request for reschedule or is something wrong with our application. Notice also mentions about canceling the appointment on Jan 08, 2007. No other information on when it will be rescheduled. Eventhough the marriage is 5 years old and have a kid, I doubt that the chance of issuing GC without interview.

Appreciate any input. Please check my signature

if possible, make an info pass

Arran,

I am concerned about cancelling anything with a bureaucracy which is so incompetent. If I were you, will make an info pass and see to it that they have INDEED RECEIVED YOUR NOTICE TO CANCEL AND RESCHEDULE YOU interview...

In most cases, they claim they did and next thing you know, you receive a notice of abandoment of your petitions... So be very very very very careful while dealing with these people... :(

Thanks for the advise and appreciate your concern. Based on one of the members experiece, We mad the infopass to immigration officer at Boston DO and handed in the request for the reschedule on Dec 04. Officer gave a stamped copy of our request and stamped copy of the official reschedule form. In normal circumstances I would not have taken the risk of rescheule.
I am seeing LUD on the application dated 12/16. (Saturday) must be some mistake

Good move...

Arran,

Good move on your part... don't trust them until they stamp your paperwork acknowledging your requested change.

Happy travels and hope all works out in your family's illness...speedy recover to all who aren't well in your family.... :)

cheers,
