AOS approval while out of country on AP

Hi, I'm trying to find out if someone has any experience with their I-485 being approved while out of the country on a valid Advanced Parole (AP)? Could this cause any problem during reentry? My wife who is on F-1 (I-485 RD Nov 9, 2006 at NSC) needs to travel out of the country this August for about a month. She already has her AP and EAD. Since traveling in August might be close to her approval dte, I have been advised that its best to not travel around then. Can anyone please advise or share similar experiences? Thanks a lot!

If approved she should use the AP for reentry with no problem. The point which is not applicable to you, if someone travel with valid visa and get approved, she/he will not be allowed to reenter with his/her valid visa because he already approved for immigrant visa. So, no problem if she travel with the AP. Theoritically any one with pending AOS could be approved anytime during which he may be at that time outside the country with valid AP.
