Anyway to know the status: like thru phone or web

Hi all:

Does anybody know how to know the status of an application submitted for H1B revalidation; may be a phone number to call state dept or thru any web site?

My docs with pp reached State Department in MO on 19th sept and till now no news. I have an urgency to travel to India on third week of Nov. So any of your help will be highly appreciated.

However you can withdraw the stamping using the fax number given in the visas site.
That is the only action you are allowed to do on the revalidation application. See the tracker threads to make a decision about whether to withdraw the revalidation or not. Did you send by FEDEX- which is generally faster...
