I live in Charlotte too. See my timeline in my signature. They asked us for more evidence for the affidavit, what else. The infopass appointment was very helpful, the officer told us that on the way from Chicago to Lees Summit a lot of papers get lost :eek:

Lets try to keep up this thread. It will be good to see how long it actually takes to get an interview letter. Since both of you guys are a few days behind me and you both had RFE, yours should be coming in after mine. However, seems like the rest of the process is on some sort of similar track. NeShawn, your LUD on 765 is good sign, however since you still have not done your FP you will not get your EAD until you do. If you are not too far from Charlotte, you should try going sometime before and try to get your FP done. Seems like a lot of people on this forum had success with doing that, plus it will definately speed up the process...

Hey guys,

That's really a good thread. Did you notice that last month Charlotte posted that they were working on I-485 applications from January 18th? But in September they posted they were then working on January 1st. So somehow they seem to have found old applications behind the drawer. ;)
Anyway, during my last Infopass appointment the officer talked with Missouri and told me they were getting ready to send out the interview letter, but I had no LUD eversince nore did we receive any letter.

Waiting from Missouri?

Dear Niadara:

It sounds like it is Missouri who is delaying this process (I-485) rather than Charlotte DO. As per my understanding, it is the Charlotte DO that is relatively understaffed and, thus, we are not yet received an interview letter.

Did an officer say anything about how long it will take for them to receive an interview info from Missouri and how long it will take once for Charlotte DO to process once they receive all from Missouri?

@ Jung: I strongly assume that Charlotte is understaffed. Though Missouri seems to send the interview letter. During my Infopass appointment the officer told me that Missouri was getting ready to send out the interview letter. I guess they have database access or whatever to see when there are free interview times in Charlotte and when the I/485 is processed to be send out to Charlotte they send us the interview letter, while Charlotte receives the documentation and whoever is the interviewer now has something new to read.

That's the only thing I can guess, since the officer told me directly that Missouri sends interview letters.

Is that true? I assumed so, but all of you who received an interview letter> where was it stamped?

Thank you for your information. My RD is 6/30, almost a month ahead of you. I still do not have interview letter and I have no idea how long it will take from Missouri to Charlotte. Other DOs are moving much quicker! Some people already got an interview done with the same RD I have. I wish we would know how long it will take us (Charlotte DO) to receive an interview letter.

Let's see.
 
Another LUD on I-130 and I765

My EAD was already approved and I received a new card. Today, I saw the first LUD on my I-130 and another LUD for I-765. The messages are the same as before but I can definately tell that they "touched" my files. I am still waiting for an interview letter.

Did anyone get any new LUDs?

No news here. No EAD, no AP, no LUDs in nearly a month. Seems my case fell behind the desk. :( Even though interims EAD are no longer issued by the local offices my hubbie suggested to make an Infopass for the 91st day, just to get our file on top of the pile and to inquire about what they are doing.
Btw how did you guys find out about the fingerprints arrived MSC? I never had a LUD stating that, only the officer in Charlotte told me that MSC reveived my fingerprints and that they were back. Whatever that means...

yeah I had no LUDs forabout a month by now as well. it was nice to get EAD and AP though, so I guess I cannot complain. I think it is a great idea to go and inquire about your EAD in 90 days (IO has advised me to do that if I would not get mine). The fact that your fingerprints came back, means that they have been cleared, so that is good....

I think I am going to make an infopass at the end of this month (it is going to be 4 months since no LUDs on my I-485 and I-130) and see what is going on....

Info pass sounds good. It is weird that I have new LUDS on I-130 and I-765 (after I received the EAD card) while Pvkby has none. My RD is 6/30 and RFE for I-485 was received on 7/30. Clearly, I am behind pvkby. Anyway, I could only imagine that MSC opened up my I-130 and checked the status of I-765. Maybe that they are simply waiting for the open slots in Charlotte DO.

I am sorry that you still have problems with MSC. I checked your timeline and you still have no I-130 LUD yet. Only I-485. Your recent updates are for your RFE, I am sure. Because I have received a new LUD after I sent my RFE. Since then, no LUDs untill 10/11. I am not sure LUD on I-130 is necessary for them to process Interview letter or not. At least they are touching your I485, that means they are doing something with your I-485. I am sure that they have to fix your I485 before they process I130 and interview letters.

I simply asked during the infopass if my fingerprints and name were cleared and apparently the IO could see it in the system. I think the namecheck normally depends on how common your name is and what country you are from...

I had a LUD

Finally after nearly 4 weeks they updated my EAD, but the message didn't change. I don't know what they did, I hope I will get it soon (NOA date is August 4th).
The processing dates for the 485 in Charlotte moved forward by three months!!!! That's a good sign. THough the MSC times didn't move forward a day (AP, EAD). That is so stupid! ON my AP NOA it says it takes 60 to 90 days to get it. Doesn't seem to be so likely...

A new LUD on I-485

Yes. I just got another LUD on I-485 as of 10/21/06 (no changes on messages). Now I have all of the recent LUDs on I-130 and 765 as of 10/11/06. It looks like they are doing something. I can't wait to get an interview letter.
