Anyone with a Sibling-based application and not living in the US?

I was wondering if anyone here has a sibling-based application and is not currently living in the US. Have you entered the country after the petition was filed? Did you have any problems at the POE? Were you able to get a non-immigrant (B1/B2) visa?

I know many of you have tried to help posting advice about this matter, but I was wondering if we could hear from someone that actually has some real life experiences to share with us. Thanks!
 
I've heard that if you have an I130 filed and pending they can at their discretion refuse to give you a B1/B2 visa because they fear you might overstay. This was a long long time ago I suspect, before the 10 year bar I don't know if they still use this as a guideline.
 
They can refuse a B1/B2 even if there is no pending I-130. Anyone who fails to overcome 214(b) will not be issued a B1/B2 visa.
