Anyone with 140 transfer ????

Recently checked status of my 140, says transferred to local office in Atlanta GA................. Any reason why ? Is it good bad ? I thought local offices do not process 140............

Was it filed concurrently with 485 ? If yes, did you get EAD/AP ? When ?

If I-140 was filed with CP option then transfer to local office is weird.

You can find a full scope information -- including how many cases similar as yours have been transferred -- on www.immigrationwatch.com. This site has all this info for California, Nebraska and Vermont service center, for Texas however, it currently marked as N/A. Hope it's up soon for SRC.

I think they made a mistake in updating the status. That should have been in under 485 status.

I think it is an error on thir part. Call the CIS customer service and ask them. Also fax a letter to TSC at - 214-489-8021 requesting them to look into it. Try to fax tomorrow as the line will be free due holiday season.

Let me ask the following questions-

Do you have any arrest record ?
Have you been out of status ever ?
