Anyone who wasn\'t asked for I-94 at time of passport stamping?

I\'m planning to try phoning the IIO but knowing how hard it is to get through I would really appreciate it if anyone here knows or was in the same position. While stamping our passports, the IIO only took our approval notices and photos and did not take anything else, not even the I-94 (or the EAD or AP). Anyone else in the same boat? If I can\'t get through to the IIO, should I go to INS again for this?

Thank you for replying. Does this mean that you got your green card (plastic) without submitting your I-94? I\'m just hoping I don\'t jeopardise anything since things are kinda difficult job-wise etc so would not want to do anything to lose the plastic card or delay it. Would appreciate hearing from you again on this. Thanks.
