Anyone who got appointments recently at Ottawa / Montreal ??

Has anyone been able to schedule appointments at Ottawa or Montreal Consulate recently ? I have been checking nvars.com for the past few days and what I see is that none of the consulates except Toronto has any appointments available.. Any idea as to what's happening ??

Is there a specific time of the day when these appointments are open? From the past I know that Toronto normally gets filled up much faster than any other Canadian consulates?

Any guidance would be appreciated...

i made my reservation at the ottawa consulate last week. there were some 20 appointments open for 3/2/06 and they were taken in the matter of a few hours or a day. you are have to constantly keep checking the system.

i would recommend leaving the nvar.com window open while you're at work and keep checking the website every hour or so.....and you'll find something. at least that's how i found my appointment.
