Anyone travelled to Guatemala or Peru with RTD?

I am debating where to travel. My plans to Europe (Germany) have been cancelled, and I have a week off. The RTD is now btw 6 and 3 months before expiration. So you know how my options are limited.

Has anyone been to Guatemala with RTD? Or Peru? How long did the visas take? :confused:

1) I have paid $165.00 for this document and I intend to use it.
2) Believe it or not, I am aware of the existence of 48 states. No offense but - I'd prefer some actually helpful answers to my question?
 
Espresso...You are right. 165 bucks I totaly forget thats its so expensive now...go to mexico? or even Vancouver is great place to visit..not that I have been there...Ireland doesnt require a Visa...
 
OK, thanks so much. I talked to a snotty albeit not too intelligent clerk at a Guatemalan consulate today who kept insisting I needed to bring him my national passport. So I had to explain for 1/2 hr that asylees usually don't have passports, don't want them etc. but he said: "Yes, I understand but I need to determine your nationality". Idiot. I am going straight to the embassy in DC, will let you allk now what I find out.

It might just turn out that all these poor little countries don't want my cash so I'll have to spend it in Europe.
