Anyone traveling for the holidays received any good travel advice?

I am awaiting approval of a h1b transfer and plan to travel home for a few days, carrying just my valid h1b from previous employer in my passport and a copy of my new petition receipt(I-797C).

does this sound ok???

Just bring every piece of immigration paperwork you have

You may get some real asshole at the gate. i also think it depends on what country you\'re from and where you enter.

If you\'re a muslim male flying into New Nork, it may not be that easy.

Will my new I-94 from when i return to the states be valid until my old h1b has expires?

or will they just let me back in the country with no I-94?
