My processing resumed msg - is Jan 9. and my spouse - Jan 11.
FP - Nov 30.

No RFE and not assigned to officer.

waiting for over 17 months

Though you asked for those from July... i am still around from March.
March '01 - RD
April '01- ND
May '01 - EAD/AP
Aug 01 - FP
May '02 - iEAD
May 28th - RFE for me and my daughter. Spouse had no RFE.
Lawyers address had changed so both RFE's went back to them - they resent mine to the new address - Emplyment ver, W2 and tax papers.
Replied to my RFE June 25th - AVM changed June 28th to "recieved RFE..."
Daughters RFE resent after 81 days on Aug 21.
Apparently they had none of her papers - had to redo medical, take new pictures and lawyers also had to fax info that they were the current lawyers
July '02 - 2nd EAD

As of date - still waiting.
Lawyers are checking and sending faxes - i have been asked not to call INS since i keep getting these vague answers from them which was pretty upsetting. So i am still around too!

technote your case is almost like mine...

Ins has received RFE responses from both of us in June and we are still waiting in Sep for approval.
In the meantime did you call INS and talk with an IIO? What did they say is the reason for not acting?
In my case IIO told me "more rfe is asked" which later changed to "the case is with supervisor" to "we never mailed" etc...

Did you talk to IIO recently? I am from SFO area.

One of my friend applied with the same dates (same FPs date), same company, etc. got approved three months back...

I am getting frustrated.....

By the way, what's your PD, RD, ND.....

I have been talking to IIO, but not regularly. last time I spoke to IIO was in 3rd week of Aug. He said - It is in fileroom, waiting to be assigned.

My Details are:

PD: Nov 99
RD: July 01
ND Aug 01
FP: Nov 01
Processing resumed - Jan 9
Waiting - Sept 12

Does any one knows - being in fileroom means what?
 
what is "Investigative report" from FBI

I was talking to the IIO today. She said that they have recieved the FP report but they are still waiting for the "Investigative report" from FBI. I am not sure what this "Investigative report" is. Any ideas ?
