Anyone receive 485 approval without 140 approval updated online?

Hi All,

I got my 485 approval notice in email today but my 140 still pending. This is very strange. I contacted my lawyer and she said she doesnt seen this kind of case before. She said it's possible they forgot to update 140 online. Did anyone have or heard of this kind of situation before? I am not sure if this mean I got the GC.

Did you get the approval notice for your I-140? If USCIS had forgotten to update then atleast they would have sent the approval notice. In that case your lawyer should have got the I-140 approval. YOu better call USCIS customer service and you check online status of both I-140 and 485. I feel something weird here (without approving I-140 USCIS has adjudicated 485 ???????????)

Hi, Thanks for your reply I just got the email notification today so my lawyer didnt receive the 140 in mail yet. She told me to wait for a few days before calling USCIS. I feel very weird too.
