I'm so scared. My mother has overstayed and now wishes to go home and then come back. I'm afraid she may not be let in although she has visa.
Anyone able to get in? How hard it was?

kabeza,

Did u extend her visa or did she just overstayed after her I94 expired?. Does she has a 10 yrs visa or what?. If she doesnt have 10 yrs visa, it might be a problem getting visa the next time, it has happened to our mom, they just kept rejecting saying "You wont return back to India like last time after your 6 months visa and so we need enough proof that you would return to India". We sent additional documents all the time and they kept rejecting all the time. So you have to be very careful abt overstaying in U.S, because its really a problem when she goes for visa next time.

Thanks,
Priya

Hi! I agree with what other forum members have told you. Even though it is not impossible for your mother to get another visa, the immigration authorities may do wonder the next time she applies for one whether your mom will be overstaying her visa or not. I suggest that you ask immigration consultants such as those in Foreign Immigration, www.foreignimmigration.com , whom I´m sure will help you through.

Visitor visa will be issued by US Consul , no immigration attorney or agency can influence them to get those visa. Those who are solociting in this site are just trapping innocents to make easy bucks. Be careful. No agency can help you in this matter. You merit alone get you there.
