anyone out there with I-485 RFE responded and still waiting for approval

Any one with REF on I-485 responded and still waiting for approval,please join.

Primary I-140,485 approved on 9th Oct 2004.

Dependent:
9th Oct I-485 RFE for Medical
25th Oct RFE received by USCIS
26th,27th,28th Oct LUD Change

Waiting for Approval.
I dont know why it is taking over 6 weeks for approval.Any suggestions on what can be done.
 
Our case is similar. I have yet to send the reply for my wife’s medical RFE.
Have you responded to the RFE of your lawyer did for you. I want to handle my self, so my question is what type of cover letter we need to send. If you have the sample format please post here.

in my case i did not receive the RFE,my lawyer received the RFE,so i sent the sealed medical documents given by the INS physician to the lawyer and he took care of sending the response.
