Hello,

Thanks for many gurus help, I will have the interview soon.

Since I quitted from a software company in March, 2006 and have beening running my own business since then.

I don't have 'pay stub' now, and no tax info for my own company yet(this is the first year), but I do have past 5 years tax return... On the other hand, the advantage is I export Minnesota's product to SE Asia, kind of creating job opportunities for MN... hope this is help :)

May I ask anyone on the same boat or has any suggestion? I do want to know what document I should prepare in advance.

Thanks!

Not the same but...

My interview was last week. They never asked for a pay stub. Citizenship is not based on current employement.

I left my last job in June and I just told him about that and updated that. He asked me what I was doing. I said I was just taking some time off :D . So, I don't think they care.

For you -- take whatever documentation you have like incorporation documents or whatever. That should do it. You may want to take the last pay stub from your old job if you are paranoid, but don't think it is required.

Having a job is not at all a criteria to attain a citizenship.

So, not having a current paystub will not jeopardise ur chances in anyway. Why would u want to work if u earned enough in 5 years.
