Anyone know reasons for this delay at CSC ??

Hi,

If anyone has any viable theories for the slowdown at CSC , pls share it.

I am getting really perturbed.

My theories:
1. 245i
2. new administration
3. people moving out of CA due to layoffs
4. batch processing (lots of approval in the pipe)
5. temporary failure in one of the simple IT components as:
   - mail processing,
   - phone system interface to I485 database,
   - database itself
6. putting in place of new evaluation system due to changing market conditions
7. waiting for tax information to clear out after April 16th deadline (to send more RFE based on new information)
8. processing older cases -> lots of RFE
9. training of new people (a couple of the people posted phone conversations with trainees)

Enough theories for tonight :-)

Let\'s hope that the quietness is the prelude of an upcoming
storm. Sometime cases are approved in batch and sent to data
center waiting for generating notices and AVM update. I hope
this is the case and we will see more approvals shortly.
