I just got my stamp on 3/11. However, I noticed that my stamp is only valid for half year instead of 1 year. When I went back, I couldn\'t locate the officer who handled my stamp. I asked the other officer and he said INS changed its policy - all the stamps are valid for half year only. Is that true? Moreover, when I tried to update my new mailing address, the officer (who handled my case) said I do have a choice of having my green card being sent to my lawyer\'s office and in that case, I don\'t need to update my mailing address. Since I don\'t know I am going to move later or not, I chose to have green card being sent to my lawyer\'s office. Have anyone also chose to have his/her green card being sent to his/her lawyer\'s office?
