RFE issued on/around 8/1/01 - not yet received by either lawyer or myself (RD 8/29/00, ND 9/25/00, FP 11/00, EB1, Country: Others).

Lawyer says that even if I know what RFE is for (which I don\'t), I cannot respond until we receive RFE.

Any one else had RFE generated around 8/1/01 and received it? Please help - any info is appreciated!

Hi, RFE usually takes about 7-8 business days to get to the lawyers. Your lawyer should be receiving it any time now. Wait till next Monday or Tuesday and either you or your lawyer should have received it by that time. Does your AVM says, we mailed a request for eveidence bla bla bla.... then, you are sure that the RFE has been mailed out on that day. Hope this helps.

The message says "on August 1st, we mailed you a request for additional...blah...blah". So it has been about 10 business days since it was mailed. Lawyer has heard nothing. I am worried it is stuck in VSC mailroom before going out. Just another frustration added to this already screwed up process!
