Yes, here are my dates:
Asylum Approval: Aug. 1998
I-485 RD: Sep. 20, 1999
I-485 ND: Nov. 24, 1999
FP: Sep. 2003
Approved: May 6, 2004
Stamped: June 2004
I didn't have a GC interview & didn't need to send any additional evidence.

Yes SAM33, I received a letter with the approval notice and directions as to when and where to go & get my passport stamped. I don't have my national passport, so they issued me a temporary, paper GC valid for 1 year. The officer said that I can expect my plastic GC to arrive in mail within a year. Best wishes to you.
