Anyone having to re-fingerprint because of bad prints?

The lady at the Appl Support Center told me that my fingerprints are worn out and fingers cracked. She does not think they would be accepted. Does anyone have similar experience where you had to re-fingerprint because of poor quality of the first one?

I do not see the prints getting any better. So I am wondering what happens in if the second prints are rejected too.

Thanks
Mahesh

What happened. I thought you just had FP appointment today. So seems like you went there and they tried to do FP and what happened ? Soon as they got the FP, they said its worn out.because of your finger cracked ?? If that was case..why couldnot they just took another one rightaway...?
Just curious....
Thanks

If you had a cracked or cut finger you should have been told to come back after it heels. You should be contacting USCIS to reschedule FP. I thought they have a supervisor to QC all the finger prints before its passed onto FBI.

The skin on my fingers is dry and looks "cracked" but there is not cut as such.
The lady at the ASC was very nice. She did her best. Tried several times but said it would be too hard to get good prints because of the dry skin as well as the fingerprint seems to be pretty worn.
She said I may get a call back in another 2 weeks for a re-printing if FBI rejects the first set.
I called the USCIS customer service and they say if the re-prints are not good enough, then they will "move on with the case" but I am concerned.

You could get excemption from fingerprinting under the circumstances wherein you are unable to provide ligible fingerprints due to conditions beyond your control. Try that avenue....
