Anyone has an idea how long I have to wait?

Spoke with IIO today
My case is for RD = 12/05/00. Initially she told the standard dialogue of processing 10/26/00, I then told her that AVM says it is taking 330-360 days to process, she said it\'s no longer valid. It is actually 390 days that they are taking.
I also asked what is the likely hood of case getting assigned to an officer she told me probably next month or sometimes Jan.
Anyway it\'s the time when NSC goes into deep sleep due to holidays.
Based on above, my guess would be sometimes Jan or Fed of 2002

I wish that happens. I am running out of patience these days. RD: 12/29/00 FP 04/01
But, I know how NSC works. Its like stock market, volatile.
But, sometimes they were really fast like earlier this year
during March and April they caight up about 6 months applications.

The date on I-485 notice say my reciept date is 11/17/2000 but the AVM says it is Dec 5th 2000. I am still waiting for the approval too.
BTW, my lawyer keeps telling me that they will send a RFE for employment letter. We have sent two "proof of employment" letter(one during the initial application of I-485 and the other during the FP notice). Is he just talking in legal jargon(covering his you know what)? I am worried that a RFE will further delay this whole process.
I am sick of this whole stupid process.

I don\'t think on the grounds of Employement verification, they would ask for RFE specially since you have supplied them earlier.
