Anyone has an experience with FLORIDA senators?

I have contacted by fax using form suggested by my attorney.
For my case it took 10 days for them to respond, 15 days for my wife case.
Response contained almost no significant information:
"I am contacting you to let you know that we received your completed Consent for Releaseof Information form
We have forwarded this and all other pertinent information to the appropriate agency. Once we received a response from them, we will be back in touch"
But USCIS approvals were received in 2 months after requests.
I think if no response is received in 3 week you can call senator office and ask them do they received your request.
