Anyone got second FP notice after 485 RFE?

Is there anyone got second FP notice after RFE? I did RFE (employment verification) in this May but still waiting for second FP. My first FP was done in Jan 2003. Can anyone share some details (RFE and FP notice date)?
 
Got an RFE in JUNE (employment letter), replied by July 10th. No word yet about FP 2. FP1 was done in FEB 2003
 
Yes, I am on the same boat. I-485 RFE for self on 03/18/04 (emplyment verification), response recd on 04/06/04. I-485 RFE (spouse -marriage certificate etc) on 04/26/04, response recd 05/24/04. Second FP notice dated 06/30/04, notice recd on 07/10/04, for 2nd FP on 07/15/04 (done), LUD 07/20/04 (both self & spouse showing fingerprints received). Fist FP done in Jan 2003

In between I contacted USCIS on 06 July 2004, when it was more than 3 months they got my response to RFE. Not sure whether that triggerred the 2nd FP notice. I am saying this because, though the notice was dated 30 June 2004, I noticed that it was posted on 07 July 2004, just after I called to enquire the status.

Waiting since then..... What is your receipt/notice date? Mine is Nov. 2001, Yes 2001!!

second FP after RFE

Yes...

ND Nov 2002
RFE Response Received: June 8
EAD 3 : Applied with ND: July 8
FP 2 notice: June 12 scheduled for July 30
FP 2 done : July 30
No FP 2 notice for spouse though.

I knew many are in the same boat. But anyone got the second FP after RFE? It almost seems we got forgotten because we had RFE.
I am looking for someone that opposes this pattern.
GRCA-2002, I remember your wife got 2nd FP after you RFEed. Have you got the 2nd FP notice?

Yes, I got 2nd FP after RFE.

I 485: 12/20/2002.
1 FP: 02/01/2003.
RFE: 05/06/2004, Response Received by INS on 05/27/2004.

2 FP: 07/01/2004, Updated by INS on 07/08/2004.

And the wait goes on and on and on..... on... and .... on.

Not yet. No FP2 for me, no LUD for spouse after FP2 was done. I called them once,, but the usual crap.."have patience, each case is unique, blah blah, blah..." :eek: :mad:

I got a 2nd FP notice (myself and my wife) after submitting the RFE response.
As per my observation, it takes 16 to 19 months after the first FP for USCIS to send you a FP notice.

Also, it is triggered automatically by the system. Only in cases where your file is touched by the adjudicating officer to find out that your 2nd FP is due that your web site is updated with the message "FP notice send ...blah blah.."

For others (whose file is not with the adjudicating officer) the FP notice is generated by the system. (hence no changes on the web site and the subsequent anxiety.)
 
That's an interesting oberservation. Some do get messega saying "FP sent" and others don't.

I got my FP notice today. But not for my wife. Hope she can get it soon. No message on the USCIS website.

GRCA, yours should be coming to you soon. We have very similiar RD, 1FP and RFE date.

Yesterday I have received my FP2 notice. Still I am waiting for my wife's FP notice. Did your wife receive FP2 notice. I have replied my RFE in May04. My I-485 ND is Nov'02.

Did you do your 2nd FP at St. Louis early ? Could you please update your case

Yes, I received 2nd FP notice yesterday, for both: my self and wife.

I485 RD Nov. 2002, under 245(i),
1st FP - Feb 2003 both.
RFE: RFE issued on May 11, 2004, recd by INS July 15, 2004. On line status message changed: July 20.
Spouce : on line status unchanged from day 1st. NO RFE for wife.

In fact I was expecting approval by the time, but I saw FP notices.

Any body got approved under simmilar situation? if some one there, how long it took after 2nd FP ?
 
My wife's FP notice came 6 days after mine. We haven't try early FP. I was told it is impossible.
I have almost exactly same RFE and ND date as you.

2nd FP after RFE

My RFE response received by USCIS on May 26, 2004
2nd FP for myself and my spouse on July 20, 2004.
Approval waiting.
