Anyone got AP recently, NSC?

my case is similar to yours. I filed our AP applications on 2/24/2006. I expect to receive the approval by 4/15/2006.
 
AP in NSC

I applied on Feb 7th and got the approval mail yesterday. So they should be getting to Feb 16th in a week or so I think.

anyone got AP today, processing time report still shows 02/07/2006 (didn't change), I'm worrying as I have to get UK transit visa for my wife. She will be departing on 04/20.

Hi,

Our I-131's are delayed, when called the customer service got emails saying waiting for security check and it is our third AP we were issued twice previously. What are our options we need the AP's for our scheduled travel. Can we take info pass and try at the local office. Please suggest me want we can do to get our AP's.

Are you sure the email LIN is about I-131 and not about I-485?

AFAIK, I don't think security check is required for I-131. If that is the case, I am really scared now as I just filed for second I-131 and for sure know that my I-485 is pending due to security check. :mad:

Hi damascus,

It is for I-131 I never heard any issue with I-131. I am saturated to get frustrated with the processing and responses from customer service I have to call customer service again. But what are my options to get my AP.

Confused about AP

I filed my 4th AP (through lawyer) on March 15th. And i haven't received any receipt notice so far. They haven't even encashed my checks. Not sure what steps to be taken to get the receipt numbers. The EAD checks were encashed and my lawyer received the receipt numbers for EAD. Both EAD and AP applications were mailed together in the same pacakge.

Any clues???

If I go to local INS office and request for Advance Parole, what kind of evidence I should submit? How to get appt. with them? Please advise.

My I-131 application is also pending. I applied in Oct'05 and it is not approved yet. When I initiated an inquiry, the reason mentioned was security review. I got the same response when I approached the local congressman. This is my second I-131 application.

My I-140 and other applications were also pending for 2.5 years because of security review. Finally about couple of months ago, I received an RFE on my I-140. At that time, all my pending cases except my I-131 got approved. We have responded to the RFE. Keeping my fingers crossed now.

Bottom line, it is unfortunate for guys like us because we can not travel overseas. I do have H1 approval notice, but there is a long wait for the visa stamping at the U.S consulates, especially in India.

Samething happened me.....applied Oct 1st 2005.... same story...security review....still waiting for I-131.....

It won't happen to everyone....but now a days it happens for almost 50% applications.....(based on my friends and colleague applns)....

No emergency....no proof will work out if your I-131 in pending due to security reasons....
 
I had applied for AP and EAD renewal (paper-based) for my wife with NSC. I had sent all the required documents through certified mail in different envelopes for EAD and AP and to their respective post boxes. I tracked the status on USPS website and both the packets were delivered on March 27, 2006. On March 29, check for EAD was cashed and I also received the receipt notice for EAD on March 30.

BUT... there is no action on AP. Check has not been cashed and I haven't heard anything from NSC until now. Do they take so much time... Should I be worried and how should I contact NSC ( I don't even have recipt number for their reference).

Any help/guidance would be really appreciated.
 
Did anyone of you go to the local office to get an interim AP? Or is there such a thing? Just like interim EAD card.
