Anyone from Kentucky

Hi,
Just wanted to get together some applicants from KY to see what's going on to our applications. I would assume that KY is one of the underworked offices, and something like transfer of applications (as is happening with some other states) from TX to here could help some.

140/485 RD 2/10/04
EAD/ AP approved 3/24/04
 
I-140 still not approved

We filed I-485 and I-140 on jan 15 2004.

Got EAD, AP on Junly 09 04.

But still I-140 is pending. When we checked the status it shows

"On April 28, 2004, the document we made based on the approval or registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued." :confused:

But so far we did not receive any notice or RFE. We called the INS 2 times to know what is going on. But there is no proper response. We are working with a local congress person to help us.

I feel getting a GC is really a painful process. :mad:

Anybody has the same experience in Kentucky? :confused:
 
Have you tried help from your lawyer? I think you can have your lawyer initiate a formal enquiry since it past 30 days from the date they have sent in something to you.
Do you have your FP done yet? Do you know the progress of any others from Kentucky?
 
Guys we are pretty close in terms of filing date though I am not from Kentucky.. My r/d is jan/20/2004.. (Eb3 concurrent)
 
I did not get any FP notice so far. Two of my friends who applied on the same day with me, they got their approval notice for I-140 and even they got their FP done.
Only my case is weired. Do any of you guys know what the status mean?

Your friends got there I-140 cleared, you must be kidding me. Do you guys work undercover for CIA.. Just wondering what could be the reason for such favorable treatment.

As for status I have got no clue... Sorry
