sorry if you've seen the same tread in another location. I think i posted it in the wrong category last time.

my 140/485 was filed in Feb, 2004 California EB2. I wonder if anyone has similar cases? I am thinking to start a tracker. Does anyone know if the pilot program picks applications in Feb.? Any comments are appreciated!

thanks to all the folks posting information here. I've learned so much from the forum and will start contrubuting.

Mine is on Feb 2004, true EB2 concurrent Filing.
I got my EDA/AP/FP in 2 month.
However, everything stopped after that.

I saw some thread in this forum, some case of April 2004 has been approved (I-485).
No new from March 2004, not to mention about our Feb 2004.

whorl1quote, have you got your 140 already?

Filed in Feb 2004

I also filed EB2 concurrently in last week of Feb 2004 both I140 and I485.

Received EAD and AP in ~ 1 month.

FP done ~20 April.

No movement after that.

I have similar situation. received AP/FP, but no movement on 140 nor 485. Did anyone initiate inquiry to the INS? I heard this sometimes triggers processing on your case. My lawyer refuced to do that because the case is still within the published processing date of 07/18/2003.

have anyone tried to call the 1800 number and talk to a representitive?

I am in a similar boat:

Filed on Apr 13 (EB1 Multinational Executive/Manager), 2004, got EAD in about a month, and FP early june. Nothing else has happened...

I140 processing time reported is 270-300 days.

The strange part is that the status for the FP is different for me and my wife, any light on this difference ? Anybody in a similar situation ?

Mine:

On June 12, 2004, the fingerprints for your I485 Application to
Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were collected and
are pending review.

Wife:

On June 19, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485
Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were
received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made.

whorl1quote :

Should I do anything regarding this check ? should I call the FBI or something like that ?

Thanks

thewaiting,
I think they are still reviewing your fingerprint, while your wife's has been verified.
Can someone tell what is the difference between:
1. Finger print has been verified from FBI
2. Name check cleared

Is it the same thing or not?

HELLO ALL!!

I think All of us should seriously take actions NOW NOW to fight with INS for the I140 backlog. It has been a long time people talking around, but I really want to pull the effort together!!

I have created a Yahoo group, because it's a much more direct communication than posts here - not everyone remembers to check the posts here everyday. Also everyone is anonymous here - can we at least have direct emails to communicate with one another??

Please join me in the group. I will summarize the action items to take in a short minute.
