anyone ever entered canada without Docs

I am a canadian Landed Immigrant and Indian passport holder . I lost my Passport in USA and have got a new passport now . I do not have the IMM 1000 with me but have the copy of it and am going to enter canada to pick up my PR card .

Any one had experiences before
 
1 you can get new landing document I hope you have to pay some fees for this.
2 they have your record in CIC computer with them and can verify that.
3 you should keep the copy of Police report that you lost your LP and Passport, if you have copy of your old passport keep it with you.
4 try to keep any other photo ID with you that have your photograph, DOB
5 if you have SIN card, Canada DL or any Canada ID keep it with you

Some feedback on your Points

Applied for replacement copy of IMM 1000 at seattle consulate -
Processing time - 4-6 months

2 they have your record in CIC computer with them and can verify that.

Banking on this to enter

3 you should keep the copy of Police report that you lost your LP and Passport, if you have copy of your old passport keep it with you.

Have those with me

Sin card , Canadian DL, Taxes for last 2 years , Copy of old passport , IMM 1000 , MSP , Old salary slips etc
