Anybody with RD/ND of October 2000 or earlier waiting for approval

Hi
I have been waiting since October 2000 for my I-485 approval.
 Details:
PD 09/99 - CSC
I-485 10/2000 (EB-2)
FP 02/01
Waiting for more than 10 months now.
Spoke to IIO several times but got no useful information.
Lawyer sent a FAX inquiry about 6 weeks back which yielded no response.
Lawyer says nothing much can be done other than wait.
Any suggestions would be helpful.

I am also still waiting for my approval. I did get an RFE on May 24th and replied on June 15th. The AVM was Updated for the RFE on 31st July. Now I am anxiously waiting for my Approval.
 
ND 9/00 - Still waiting - No RFE

I am in the same boat.
My lawyer says the same thing that there is
not much we can do. Also the attroney office
says that they have started experiencing back log
of I485 cases.
I asked the lawyer to send an enquiry. THey have not
done it so far.
Even my AP expires in a couple of months.
Have you recd any RFE?
Until 3-4 months back the CSC JIT had Jan 2001 for I485.
They have changed it to Jan 1998 and still processing
2001 cases. When we call the IIO gives the standard
reply that they are processing Jan 1998 cases.
I do not understand what to do.
By my username you can make out how frustrated I am.
Hopefully all our cases get approved soon.

I have not recd any RFE. Even though CSC says it is processing 98 cases, we are seeing lot of Feb/March 2001
approvals. Also most of my friends who applied after me have got their approvals.

I contacted our congress woman - no use

I contacted our local caongress woman.
They enquired with INS. But around the
same time INS CSC came up with JIT that
had Jan 1998 for I485 cases.

They replied to our congress woman that
they are processing 1998 cases and it
will take some more time for approval of
my case.
Our Congress woman advised me to wait
some more time and let them know if still
I do not get my approval.

I tried to explain the fact that lot of my friends
who filed after me got their approvals, but they
have the JIT and are going by the JIT.

I do not understand why CSC has a JIT w/1998
and still approving 2001 cases.
I guess they do not know what they are doing.

I\'m in the same boat. Here is my info:

PD: 01/99

I-485 (CSC):
RD/ND: 09/00
FP: 11/00
RFE: 12/00 (due to Merger, had to reply new I-140)
RFE Received: 02/01

My new I-140 has been approved since 03/01 but no approval yet for my I-485. Sent 2 fax inquiry, got no response.

WAITING 4 EVER!!!!

ND 12/00! still waiting...FP done 5 months back...how much longer..................
