Anybody with ND 5/00 still waiting

Hi, Guys. After trying tried several times, I called in Lincoln NSC
this morning. I called at 7:30am, holding for about 40 min. Only
talked 3 min with IO. According for what she told me, NSC is
processing RD 3/24 cases. Mine is 3/27. I hope after one week, I
can get approved. It was such long time and torture.

NSC has processed 3/00 cases long time back. Now, ...
Now, they are processing pending cases. Latest approvals
show that RDs as late as 07/00 were approved.
Your case should be approved any time now.
You can also call local Senator\'s office to speed
up your case.

All of you don\'t be shy of calling help now.
If you don\'t call up, NSC may not approve your cases sooner.
The reason is simple, since your cases have to be out-of-turn cases
for NSC now, you never know when your turn will come.
They are processing July RD cases. Pretty soon, they will start
August RD cases.

I485 , EB2 , RIR , RD 05/04/00 , ND 05/30/00 ,FP First week of April 2001.
Case assigned to an officer on Aug 13 ,2001.
How long it will take for the officer to make a decision ? Any idea ?

Talked with IIO and senators office
I talked with my local congressmans office regarding my case which was filed in April 00 ND May 00. those people there told me that they are processing March 99 cases I dont know where they got the info but they said they would try to find out the status of my case. Also I talked to IIO asked her to put in a request regarding my case. Its been a frustrating time as my process started in Oct 96 and still it is not over yet. Any suggestions or what to do next would be very helpful.
