Anybody with 485 approval after getting a Name Check Pending response

Hi All,
Is there anybody with recent 485 approval who got a Name Check Pending response for their previous inquiries?
Looks like there are a lot of people i nthe time range of Aug2004 - March2005 that are getting the Name Check pending response..

Looks like we are in for a long haul... 1-2 year ? I see some people getting approved in 3 months and then some have been waiting for 2 years ..... just a matter of roll of dice :eek:
 
There are tons of ppl waiting for 485 approvals with nd between aug 2004 and oct 2004. 99% of em are waiting for bkgrnd checks to clear. I am one of em.

Is there anybody out there who got a email reply or on phone saying that their Name Check was pending and then got the the 485 approval ?

If there is not a single person like that, that means once it is stuck .. unless we dont do something like file a lawsuit, or run after congressmen etc etc nothing is going to happen.

seems there is nobody that got approval after being stuck with name check so I guess we are stuck .... may be for months.

Any guess on % of people getting stuck in name check (wondering if we are exception or norm)?

I am not sure about the statistics.. but I see that there is an increased number of people stuck after september2004...
i dont think there is anything that can be done.. maybe we should start bugging our congressmen to send inquiries and stuff..

I received the approval letter today.

It was a family based case. My interview was on January 13th, 2005 and it was not approved because of FBI name check pending. I had done all kinds of things and finally approved. if you want more info about my journey, please go here: http://boards.immigrationportal.com/showthread.php?t=164243

About a month back I took an Infopass appointment and went to San Jose office and it was still pending.
 
I485 Tracker for already approved I140 cases

I have added a tracker to track all I485 pending cases no matter when they were applied, at the following link.

I saw couple of other threads related to I485 tracking but they are specific to cases filed in particular months (e.g. Dec 2004). Whereas the purpose of this thread is to build all I485 pending cases data at single place because once we reach I485 stage, case seniority is no longer matters, especially if we are stuck in FBI Name Check etc.

So please take a moment to add your cases at the above track.

If there is any other such tracker already available which I missed, then someone please point me to that link so that I will delete this newly created thread.
