Anybody whose ND is 04/01 got EAD approval this week?

My ND is 04/26 and I haven\'t received either AP or EAD.

I did apply for AP and its ND is 04/24. But no news though. JIT says there are currently processing 04/05 cases

Hi Guys,
At the risk of sounding like ignoramus , I have a few questions...any help would be appreciated....I applied for my I-485 on May 3rd under the EB2 category...I am not sure what ND , RD , AP and all these acronyms stand for...

I was wondering if anyone could give me any estimate of when I should get my EAD ?
Also if I get my EAD and I then get laid off , can i still stay in the country ?

You can get the RD(receiving date) and ND(notice date) in your receipt. Call your lawyer.

Normally EAD will take 2 or 3 months. If you get laid off, you can still work for new employer using EAD.
