Anybody who applied in Oct did not get their AP yet?

It\' s been 5 months and I might have to travel soon, can I get it at the local office?

Hello Ozone,
My ND is 10/00 and I got my AP finally last month. In Jan I went to the local INS San Jose office to try for it and they refused to take it. But I didnt have a true emergency at that time. In Feb, I had my international tickets and I prepared to go to INS and luckily I got my AP by mail the same day.
