Anybody who applied at MSC/NBC got AP recently!

They wiil ask you to submit the affidavit. You can either submit it now along with copies ofthe Notices you got. or I bring it to your interview.I submitted I-864 but it was messed up a bit. And further all the info now has changed - both of my sponsors have changed their jobs from the time we filled the Affidavit, and the I-864 we submitted actually already contains old and not up to date info.
I was told by calling the800--... # that it's not something to worry about because I will have to present a new Affidavit at the time when I am scheduled for an interview.
So go ahead and submit it now with copies of the Notices of I-130& I-485 if you havent done it yet. Or wait

My A# is changed on my I-485 interview I-797C NOA receipt

Hi Puzzled,

On my EAD and on I-94 they assigned me the same A# number and even on I-485 receipt they used the same Applicant number like A xxxxxxxxx but not A#number.Amazingly when i finally got my I-485 initial interview receipt notice -- that's I-797C NOA they gave the new A# number so i am in chaos.It looks like common but unlike yours my A# is changed on I-485.I'd appreciate if you can clarify my situation
as you already met your attorney may be you can help me.I appreciate and thank you in advance.

New A#

Hi devss,

The new A# I got is from AP, not from I-485. Here is the response I got from my lawyer regarding the new A# for my AP:

"You have been assigned a new A#. No new receipt notices will be issued. Yourr alien number from the past is being consolidated into your new alien number and they will be cross referenced - This happens quite often Your prints will be put in the correct file (they not only refer to the alien number, but the name, date of birth and location)"

I am not quite sure about your situation, call 800 and see if they know the answer. Unless it's a mistake, I don't think you should be worried too much. Just get ready and good luck for your interview.

When you check online with the receipt number (for I131 or I765)what does it say, we have received yr application on July 28th or Aug 3rd.

It said online August 3rd.

Amit,

Did you also see same thing in online about your EAD that -- After aproving your EAD , we order your New card and as soon as it will be ready,we will mail you? And when did you get your EAD in your hand after aproval notice? Please let me know.

Hi Dip,

Online and E-mail the message was:

"This case has been approved. On October 7, 2004, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address."

I got E-mail on Oct 8th. I received the card in mail on Oct 9th.

I got the e-mail for approved EAD

Guys, I got it. I cant belive it. I almost gave up and even scheduled an appointment for Friday to go and get interim EAD. I got an e-mail form INS sayng:

"On October 19, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a
new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

!!!!! Dip92 did you get yours already! I see you got the same e-mail last week???

ND 130: June 17/04
RD 485: June 07/2004
ND 485: July 01/04
FP for 485: done on July 20 reviewed Luly 29/04

Youp I got the same message like you on October 15. And they updated on October 19 that we mailed your approval(EAD) notice. I will keep you posted as soon as I get my Card.

Thanx, I really appreciate it.I am not the most patient person and this waiting is driving me nuts. I was told that even if I dont have the card yet I can start working because the actual approval date is 19 Oct.From that point on I am authorized to work. Is that so?

Unfortunately no. I guess, You have to have your EAD card all the time with you.

I am trying to figure this out. My cousin was in the same situatiom a while ago. She told me that I need the card as a proof if the employer wants to see it - u know as a proof that I am authorized. But the actual day I am legal to work is the date when the EAD is approved.
I dont know man. I am calling the 800- ...# now
 
Hi,
I am waiting for my advance parole. When I Login into my account at uscis. It says my I131 was last updated Oct 19th, 04. But It still has the same message that my I131 was received...it will take 30-60 days....

Becoz my I765 was updated Oct 8th and approved on the same date, I was wondering what happened to I131, becoz it was updated on Oct 19th, does that mean that I will get it soon???

ND:Aug 5th
EAD appoved: Oct 8th

EAD approved on Oct 14th.
EAD card received on Oct 15th..

On Oct 18th, received a msg that RFE has been issued for AP.. Still havent received the notice yet ?? Wondering what the RFE could be for....

AP in hand on Oct 21.

EAD they mailed on Oct 19 and on the way.

After 3/4 days they will update your message that we mailed your card.
