Anybody who applied at MSC/NBC got AP recently!

I have a question guys. I am recieving 2 Approval e-mails for my EAD.

1st one says: On 19th of Oct your Application as approved, we ordered YOU A NEW CARD ....

2ND ONE SAYS : This case has been approved. On October 22, 2004, and approval notice
was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice ....

As far as I can see from your experience , the second one means that I will actually receive the EAD card ot just a notice for approval?

Hello,

My husband received his 4th EAD card in mail today, October 25th.

Our very long timeline is as follows:

RD August 28, 2001
EAD #1 (Charleston Local INS office) October 2001
AP #1 (Greer, SC office) December 2001
EAD #2 (Charleston INS office) October 2002
AP #2 (Greer, SC office) December 2002
FBI name check initiated January 2003
EAD #3 (Charleston,SC office) October 2003
FBI fingerprints cleared May 13, 2004
Interview June 28, 2004 no stamp due to pending name check
EAD #4 RD July 14, 2004 Lee Summit Missouri (Change of rules)
EAD #3 expires October 8th, 2004
October 7, 2004. Even though not quite 90 days after receipt date of EAD #4, husband takes a chance, goes to Charleston office and applies for interim EAD.
Interim EAD #4 issued October 7, 2004
Approval e-mail for EAD #4 sent October 20, 2004
"permanent" EAD #4 arrives by mail (first time this happens ever) on October 25, 2004

As of today, we have waited 22 months for FBI name check
Waited 4 months after interview for approval notice
Waited 38 months total after 1-485 receipt date

AND WE ARE STILL WAITING. :confused:
 
EAD Update-Approved

I am reaching 90 days mark tomorrow, thought about going to Charlotte if I don't hear anything in the next couple weeks, checked online status and found out that it was approved! Hope to get it soon.
 
RD for EAD is 04/04, havent gotten anything back, just got my interim.
Advance Parole RD is 09/02/04 and still havent gotten anything yet. My lawyer says that if i dont get anything back by next week, i should make an appointment and they will issue the AP right there. IS that true? Has anyone done that before? PLease advise

You have to show proof that you need an emergency AP and you have to Pay again $165. I went to local office at Hartford CT. The officer said, don't spend extra money, just write to the MSC with proof and they will expedite my process. I wrote to MSC with medical reports, as my father is very sick and within 15 days MSC send me the AP as well as EAD. I don't know whether they make it faster for my letter or they usually sent this way.

Hi Dip,
When you say "Biometrics updated: August 17, 04", do you mean that the online status was updated to that effect? I have a RD of 09/13/2004 on my I130/I485/I131/I765. I did my biometrics on 9/18/2004 and my I485 FP on 10/02/2004. However, on the online status tool, the I485 status was updated on 10/05/2004 saying that my finger prints were received, but the I765 still has not been updated. Is this any cause for worry.

Tinkerman,

Don't worry about it at all, they only updated on I-485 exactly like you for everybody. But if you registered in BCIS online, and add all of your reciept # there, then you can see in your portfolio that, they also updated your I-765 date, after your biometrics. But again they will not change in body like I 485. I think it's help. Good luck.

USPS NextDay Letter was undelivered due to weekend since I requested signature. They stick notice.
USPS made 2nd attempt on 11/01 and was delivered.
RFE updated: 11/03. Received e-mail.
LUD changed again today. Hope some one working on my AP case.
Purchased air tickets 2 months ago. Trveling next month.
Still waiting for AP.
