anybody was asked to retake fingerprint after interview?

I had interview in Oct 2005, no stamp, but was told to receive the card soon. after 2-month of waiting, I received a letter to ask me to retake fingerprint because it is expired already. I am just so frustrated. I wonder how long I ahve to wait after the 2nd fingerrpint. anybody has similar experience? by the way, my case is in Garden city, new york.

I had my interview on 11/10, on 11/12 (yep that quick) I got a mailed notice to take fingerprints. It did not indicate the code on it, as typical from other posts I've read so when I went I made sure I looked at the form to see which box they checked. It was code 1, I aksed what that meant and I was told code 1 is for fingerprints only.

I keep on checking the website hoping to see some change regarding receipt of my prints. don't know if I will ever get that considering the fingerprint request was directly from Garden City, NY office.

I scheduled an infopass for a date after my 2nd anniversary (soon). Maybe they will have some news for me.

Almost forgot- I applied for an emergency AP recently. They gave me a bunch of papers to go to another floor to submit payment. Of course I flipped through and I noticed "clerical error- fingerprints" who knows!! I'm not stressing it though.
