i recently read somewhere that concurrent filers with current PD's will get their 140/485 approved together. if you're lucky...you should get your approval soon.

I sure hope so. My case was filed concurrently on October 12, 2004. No news on 140 or 485. Fingerprints and name checks have been cleared. I don't think anything will be done before October 1, 2005 on our cases anyways since CIS is out of visa numbers for this year.

Last week's MurthyBulletin had it saying that TSC confirmed with AILA that concurrent filings will be approved together and henceforth even for I-140 the processing date considered is the one for I-485.

Meaning, even if the ProcessingDate for I-140 is March 2005 now, concurrent filers with pending I-140 should not question until the processing date for I-485 reach their dates.

Strange ?

Hi, my dates are from Sept 16, 2004..... Even though my I485 has been sent to regional office (I DONT KNOW WHY) I am still pending......

I-140 Approved :)

My lawyer received my I-140 approval today.

I did not get any emails and the message on the USCIS webpage did not change!

Congratulations

Congratulations Kasri.

I did an address change (AR-11) last week and the LUD changed on ALL, including unapproved 140,485 and approved 765.

140 - waiting
485--?

I-140 followup procedure

My case is worse.
My I140 RD is 2/25/2004 but it was non concurrent. A colleague of mine that applied concurrently in 4/2004 got approved 2 weeks back, his I485 is still pending. I dont think they even respond to AILA inquiries, I sent 3 and have got the same response each time and my aplication is way past due.

I sent several enquiries through my attorney- Followup details -

6/27/2005 Received TSC response that the "file has been requested. Once received it will be assigned to an officer for review."

6/24/2005 Third AILA inquiry forwarded to TSC.

6/16/2005 Sent third AILA liaison inquiry.

5/31/2005 Received TSC response from second inquiry: "File will be requested from records and will be given to an officer for review.

5/26/2005 Second inquiry forwarded to TSC.

5/23/2005 Sent second AILA liaison inquiry.

4/22/2005 Received notification from AILA Liaison that TSC forwarded the inquiry to the officer reviewing the case.

4/15/2005 TSC liaison submitted inquiry to TSC.

4/12/2005 AILA liaison inquiry submitted

3/3/2005 T/c w/ National Customer Service Center. Because I-140 is outside processing time, a formal request for an update was submitted by the officer.

I dont see a purpose in the AILA inquiries here, according to their response my file has been sent to an officer for review 4 times since 4/2005.
What is the most reliable way to follow up? How would I know if my case is stuck in a name check?

Category-EB-3
SRC#- SRCxxxxx1451
I-140 RD-2/24/2004
I-485 RD - 4/19/2004

This is amazing, I got a response from the online system saying my I-140 was approved at 11 pm on 7/25, a few hours after my post.
What is wierd is, my I-485 case got updated with the following kmessage
"we transferred your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status to our office in DALLAS, TX for them to schedule and conduct your interview. Scheduling can take several months. "
Any idea what is going on, I have heard interviews in EB categories are very rare. Or is TSC just buying time so they dont need to look at the case till 10/2005?

Congrats on your 140 approval

Congrats on your 140 approval.
Hopefully TSC adjudicate the cases which are long pending.
My case is different and good example how TSC can SCREW UP the aliens life.
