They are coming!! Finally they fixed the card printing machine Got 22 :eek: (twentytwo) messages all saying;

On July 8, 2005, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Got home this evening...

Our cards were in the mailbox...Yeepee!! :D

But you know what ~ sad part about it is...we are not even excited anymore after waiting for 7 years. They are just plastic cards *sigh* :(

For those who have received the cards, any idea why the categories would be different for main applicant and the dependent (E26 and E27)?
 
Anyone else that had the pp stamped at the orlando office and already received their cards? i just want to have an idea how long it usually takes?

Received the cards 3 days ago. Long journey is over and I'm not skeptic any longer. I'll be checking this forum every other day. I'm addicted, you know ;)

I have extensive visitation but that does not mean that I have an extensive experience. You should ask that question to more senior members.

Anyway, If I were you, I would expect an approval in any minute now. Reasoning:

1) You're EB2 (=NIW)
2) They already approved the most important and cumbersome step for NIW = I-140
3) Your I-485 file is not in the stack of pending cases. They are actively working on it :rolleyes:
4) Your FP is done.

Be cool...hang in there...U R next ;)
 
received cards yesterday

got cards for me and wife... daughter still showing case 485 approved.... do they passport stamp on a two year kid passport.. or should i just wait for their mini green card for my two year daughter... :p
 
I thought it was going to take longer since i stamped at the Orlando office but i received an email saying that my card was ordered...nice :)...almost there to say that this arduous journey is finally over.

LUD/Message change?

Guys, I am new to this thread so my question may seem to be a dumb one. Anyway, is there usually a status message change after passport stamping? We did stamping on 07/25, but nothing on the online status as of today.
 
Mine never changed after i got it stamped, it remained with the approval message until it changed to card ordered. So i think you're ok, it seems normal.
