Anybody\'s I485 approved after RFE on I140

Please post detail. Like How long it took? what are the papers were sent ?

By the way is it possible to send extra document proactively ? Like even they don\'t ask for W2 or employment letter,
one can add these with there application.

I am in same situation, but no approval yet. I mailed my RFE back on July 19th and was received by INS on July 25th. My lawyer filed a new I-140(with all the necessary letters and brochures and documents) with the new company as the petitioner, and mailed the documents and RFE letter. The message still did not change - it still says the old additional info required message. I talked with an IIO once this week and once last week and both confirmed that they received my papers and it was with another department. They asked me to give a call after 4 - 6 weeks. I thought they would use a separate channel for RFEs and make 485 approvals fast. But, till now I haven\'t seen any RFE case with I-140 redo get approved. If I do not get approval in next 2 - 3 weeks, I will contact a senator and see if that will help. Tired and sick of waiting.
