Anybody had H1B stamping problem?

I lost my Indian passport and have a new one now . I will be going shortly to vancouver consulate (Canada) for stamping again my H1B visa.

Any body anticipate any probem or had any in this context

Got h1B stamped without any problem .

Just came back from vancouver . No problem at all . Very friendly poeple and no questions asked .

Only thing they wanted was 797 (original) and Employer letter to stamp H1B .

Thanks,but our situation is different,my wife came to US on H4 and got H1 in 2001 and she is working since then.Can we go to canada/mexico for H1 stamping?Can we come back if we have valid I94.

My wife changed her status from h1b to H4 so I guess the Opposite should also be okie .

Nope ! you cannot come back to US if you have applied for a visa and are rejected in canada
