Anybody got approval after RFE on I140 ?

I am in the same boat as you are. I have replied to my RFE on July 25th 00 and INS ack\'ed on 08/01/00. The message has been the same since. My ND 12/11/98. FP 05/99
My Lawyer did not file a new I-140. Instead, he argued that eventhough the company name changed, it is just a name change and the federal tax-id remained the same and hence the company for all legal purposes is the same as the one we started the I-140 with. Hope that satisfies the INS. Keeping my fingers crossed though.

Did you get RFE in form 797 ?
Did INS asked for anything else other than new I140 ? Like Paystub or W-2 etc

I talked with IIO today - 08/09/2000. She said that they received my RFE on 07/25/2000. But, the message is not updated. She said that it may take about 4 weeks for this type of case, becasue it has to be send to another department. I guess it has to be send to the I-140 department - don\'t know. Two weeks have passed. So two more weeks. I will let you know if anything happens to my case.
