anybody experiencing huge delay fromSTL to NVC

is there anybody who\'s experienced huge delays in packet3 moving from
St louis to NVC. Its been over a month for me and NVC still has\'nt received my Packet 3..any thoughts..suggestions....

As you must be aware don\'t rely on the AVM of NVC. that record was never updated for my case since my 140 approval!!

I Am getting worried

Yes it has been almost been 20 days since I sent mine. Operator for NVC said to wait for 15 business days following ST. Louis\'receipt of p3.

apparently they dont have me in the system but htey have requested for my marriage certificate. firstly i did send my marriage certificate to my lawyer , secondly if they are dont know whether st louis sent them the paperwork or nor , how could they ask for a marriage cetificate...?? beats me..

does anybody whether or not st louis reviews the packet 3....if not do they simply cash the check and send it over to the other nvc office.

Hi jafo, My P3 took 3 weeks to reach NVC

I mailed on 4/5 and it reached NVC on 4/26... after 21 days. I see in some cases P3 had made it to NVC in a week. You may wait for few more days and call NVC. Meanwhile talk to your bank and see if check is cashed and date of it.

yes, you should be able to find out...

i sent my p3 to stl on 04/23. its been 2 weeks and they have not even deposited the cashier\'s check!!

Just my guess but...

Effective May 1, 2002, bunch of other consulates (mainly those in Asia, Oceania) were added to the list of those who need to send the P3 to STL, not directly to the consulate. My concern/guess is that now so many people are going for this STL->NVC->consulate route, both STL and NVC are just swamped with all the P3, which might be causing the delay. Just a thought.

im in the same boat

I sent Pkt III to STL on March 22nd but still it hasn\'t reached NVC. The reason NVC has the marriage info on their system is because STL puts the info in their system. Atleast thats what I was told by a NVC operator.
