Anybody else got the same message from KCC?

My friend called 2 weeks ago, to KCC and was told that processing the papers would take 2 weeks. So she called back this morning and was told processing the papers would take 10 to 12 weeks....

If this is just said because the person has no clue or if they have a hude delay, we don't know. I just wondered if anybody else has the same expeirence?

They also told her the number wouldn't become current until the papers are processed. She has EU00011xxx, which isn't too high....
 
May be it is because people are bugging personnel all of the time by calling them and asking trivial questions.

"Please do not call us to check when your case will be scheduled."

Or they might have updating process in their data system or something like that.

Did you receive your GC? I saw you low number for the 2009 DV?
 
they told me 6 to 8 weeks and after that i spoke to another agent who said 10 to 12 weeks......il check back in august
 
They (KCC) told me that I can call them every month on the 15th to find out what case numbers are being scheduled for interviews from my region.

You can call them but you can also look at the published visa bulletin which comes out on the 15th.
