Any West Coast person CSC AOS pending used Chicago POE ??

Hello All,

My 485 is pending at CSC over a year now. My wife went back to india and she will be coming back sometime in September. I am using my friend's address for communication with INS.

Right now I am living in mid west.

The question is what kind of questions my wife may face ?
If you have gone through Chicago POE what kind of questions you have been asked ?

i dont think it should matter. you can always tell the immigration officer that u will be visiting some one in chicago before going to CA. They generally don't ask any questions when u show them your AP and EAD. Anyway, check with a lawyer to fully clarify your doubts.

Mine is close to your case type.
I work in chicago from right start, my case is pending in CSC.
I am used H1, using EAD/AP.
Entered using AP last time, no questions asked.

Generally, Questions will be asked only when you use H1.

i live in cincinnati and my AOS is pending in CSC(which was filed while i used to live in TX). i entered twice on AP, once in Memphis and once at Miami. both the times, we were made to wait in a room for the officer to come and stamp out AP. they asked questions like what my SSN was and what do i do, but other than that they let me in.
