I wonder if I am one of the last few 02-046er that is still hanging?

no 2nd FP notice
1 RFE: Nov. 5, 2002
no 2nd RFE

Filed an inquiry last month, response said there were going to locate my file and assign to officer.

Is that anyone in my boat?

How do you know the special checking? Was it mentioned in inquiry response? Did you get 2nd FP notice?

No update on my case.. The only update is that the've stopped approving EADs and APs now for my spouse and me citing this special checking....


Immigrateme- I found this out from my lawyer who happened to call and ask.... The're not giving any further info.. I've started emailing Mr. Honda and Dianne Fienstein (Spellcheck).
 
Bloody hell! They are not approving EAD/AP's? Hmmmm any idea what so ever what could have triggered this? Does your name by any chance rhymn with Osama or something?

The interesting things is that your case has just decided me in renewing my H1 stamp. I was planning on letting it lapse since I din't really care about it considering I am an adjustee now, your case has caused me to rethink it.

It is better to be safe than sorry as far as INS is concerned, and 170 $ does not quantify the heart ache that is your due, thanks to the wretchedness of INS.
