Hi,

My I-140 is in process @ TSC and expecting it to be completed within next two to three months. Due to recent INS regulation my 485 can be filed in TSC immediately. But if I wait till the approval of my 140, My 485 can be filed in VSC too. So, I am in dilemma. Any suggestions please?

Thanks

I would say wait 3 months and get out of Texas loop. There are thousands of cases in 485 stage waiting for more than a year or more stuck badly.

where do you reside? if you reside in TSC region I would suggest you to file in TSC because, recently INS is transfering all the cases belongs to that regions eventhough if you file in different Processing center. So if you reside in TSC Region file in TSC.

Yes. It happened to me. I have filled my I-140 in NSC after three months it got transfed to TSC. So I would suggest you to file in VSC.

Thanks

vnalluri -- file at VSC

I would suggest you to file at VSC. I'm in the same boat as you. I'm still awaiting my I-140 for about 4 months now. However, my Texas based company only files 485 through TSC so I have already filed 485 through TSC and that is pending for about a month now. However I live in Pennsylvania, which belongs to VSC.

So, I would suggest you to file at VSC and save yourself some time, pain and suffering.

Gurus, what is the possibility of my case being transferred to VSC?

Cheers -Nipster.
