After RFE submission, Some folks got it approved with in 3 weeks. If it exceeds 3-4 weeks, Again it may be struck there for another 6-12 months

I sent my RFE on 08/19/2004. I am waiting for the approval.
My lawyer told me I should hear from them in a month.

Let's us pray for our approvals so that we can plan future.Hope we all get very soon. On the whole, around 60-65% sep 2002 filers done with their approvals. Remaining 30-35% folks are unlucky. It's just like buying LOtto lottery in Texas
 
AK2002, Do i need to enquire for Name check?. As per BCIS status, my 2nd fp results are received by them. You mean FP and name check are different?

FP and name check are two different checks, each of them need to be current in order for the 485 to be approved. Since I didnt' get my approval after 30 days of FP2, I decided to call and verify if these checks were done, just to guess what's the hold up in my case.

Like I mentioned, I never got a call back on the namecheck. Other people in the forum have left voicemails or sent faxes and received the response within 48 hours on whether or not their namecheck was cleared. You will need to give them your name, date of birth and your A#.

FBI Name/background check # is 202-324-2399

Finger print check status is (304) 625 5590 or 304-625-2406

rd- 9/16/2002
nd- 9/26/2002
rfe- received by uscis on 8/9/2004
LUD changes- 8/9/, 8/10/, 8/11 and the the last 8/12 after that no more eating dust on the adjudicating officer table
so i have still 1 and a half weeks more to prove if dengdeng theory is right meaning 4-6 weeks after rfe response, approval comes next
i hope i will be true for you the same
